The summarized results from creative research or practices being done at university or design consultancy will be
exhibited in the form of panel and products including mockup demonstrations, and prototypes. The exhibition will allow
conference participants to view novel or noteworthy proposals of design studies, discuss the results with students and
faculty representatives by whom studies were carried out, and perhaps to start brand new collaborations with them.
This exhibition is not an opportunity for marketing or sales presentation. Presenters must have been directly involved
with the design and its process and be able to explain the differentiating and novel contributions of the design.
Exhibition proposals should be a maximum of 2 pages and should include figures and text with an abstract no longer than
250 words in English or 800 characters in Japanese. The proposal should include description of the noteworthy and
distinguishing ideas or approaches embodied in the system, product, application, service as the solution of design
studies and practices, in addition to the material which will be shown in the exhibition. It should also include information
about the exhibitor(s), including their relationship to the project and a detailed description of space needed, support
equipment, and internet connections required.
The abstract of all accepted Exhibition proposals will be published in a booklet that will be circulated to attendees to the
conference and will be incorporated into the main 6th ADC-conference proceedings.
Submissions to 6thADC will be by E-mail. Please refer to the 6thADC website for detailed information. Enquiries
regarding the exhibition should be sent to 6thADC-TSUKUBA Secretariat (info@6thadc.com). All submissions must be
completed by 5pm Japan Time on April 25, 2003. Submissions received after this date will not be considered. All
submissions will be acknowledged by E-mail.
