ANBD 2010 Exhibition Outline
The Purpose of the Exhibition
The territory of design is magnified and globalize today, and border between art and design, and differences of the genre are coming to be meaningless as well. The design of the past was demanded one role as industry, and this time demands design as the culture producer and the culture creator. In addition, the importance and role of Asia expand politically and economically, culturally day by day, and the effort for the development of Asia as Asian is our tasks and duties. It is going to be a foundation stone for Asia design development by sharing of artworks, researches, education, technology and thought for cooperation and exchange of Asia designers through the exhibition, ‘Asia Network beyond Design 2009’. It will be very helpful not only to developing our researches and artworks but also to accomplishing the true identity of each country and the characteristic of Asia.

The main exhibition area of ANBD2010 is Yokohama and ANBD participants can make networks through participating in the Yokohama opening party.
Exhibition Theme
ANBD participants can express their own ideas under the theme of the year. The theme of 2008 was ‘Asia’ and the theme of 2009 was ‘network’.
The theme of 2010, ‘Beyond’ is core concept and purpose of ANBD. Collaboration of different genre, cultural exchange between generations, activities beyond existing areas, challenge against for myself and our all kind of activities are real action of ANBD.

ANBD Award Judging Committee awards the excellent artwork a prize from 2009.

A way to participate the exhibition
- Artists/designer has to participate in 4 exhibitions and each artwork should be different.
- Printed artworks are generally exhibited and the original artworks (2D or 3D included), are also available).
- Name of country, flag, color of the nation as well as the elements symbolized the nation are prohibited.
- Artists/designer can apply for the exhibition through the regional office.
- Artists/designer should agree the proof of copyrights.
