6thADC�and�3DED�participants are required to register by completing the Registration Form. You can Register on-line below, or you can send the Registration Form by fax or email. We strongly recommend that register online by using a credit card. Payment must be made in Japanese yen. No checks or money orders will be accepted.

    Please make on site registration at the Conference Registration Desk. Payment must be made in Japanese yen. No checks will be accepted. The registration fee on the day is equal to Late registration's (on and after September 15).

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing and addressed to the secretariat.

Cancellations received by Sep.24, 2003(JST). : 50% of the total will be refund.
Cancellations received on or after Sep.25, 2003(JST). : No refund

Please note that all refunds will be made after the conference. Transfer costs for cancellation refunds will also be applied to participants.

ICOGRADA(International Council of Graphic Design Associations)
International Council of Graphic Design Associations will hold "2003 ICOGRADA Congress Nagoya Japan"[VISUALOGE] on October 8-13, 2003. The participants to 2003 ICOGRADA [VISUALOGE] receive a 10 % discount for registration fee. Please don't forget to bring your participation certificate as we check it at the Conference Registration desk.

3DED

3DED (3rd symposium Doctoral Education in Design) is a symposium that will be held for third one in a series. The first was held at Ohio State University, and the Second was at La Clusaz in France. This third symposium will be held in parallel with 6thADC at Tsukuba Japan.




Excursion Tour with guide

All tours leave and return EPOCAL Tsukuba by coach.

(a) Aqua City -Odaiba Visit Tour on October 13th
This one-day tour visiting design show rooms in new design spot of Japan takes 7 hours. It starts at the Tsukuba International Congress Center at 10:00 and comes back around 17:00.This tour with English-speaking guide and meal costs 7,000 Japanese Yen.

(b) Tsukuba Laboratory Tour on October 13th
This one-day tour visiting laboratories and sake brewery in Tsukuba Science city takes about 7 hours. It starts at the Tsukuba International congress center at 10:00 and comes back around 17:00. This tour with English-speaking guide and meal costs 6,000 Japanese Yen.

(c) Akihabara Tour on October 15th
This one-day tour traveling around Akihabara (electrical shops town) in Tokyo takes about 5 hours. It starts at Tsukuba International congress center at 15:00. This tour with English ミspeaking guide and no meal costs 5,000 Japanese Yen.
* In these tours the minimum number of participants is 30 persons and the fee will be refunded when it is not reached.


(d) Lady's Tour on October 16 th
This one day Tour visiting Mt. Tsukuba and Lake Kasumigaura . This tour with English-speaking guide and meal.
